    Default Will fish for cookies...

You've heard the phrase "will fish for food". I think Billbob has a t-shirt with that on. Anyway, todays fishing trip is titled "will fish for cookies". So here's the story. Shu calls me yesterday and wants to go fishing. I thought heck, it's been cold, and the half hour "test trips" I've been taking have not been producing fish. Even the bridge fishermen were not to be seen. And when there's no-one fishing the bridge (the one by my house), you know the fish are not biting. But Shu mentioned he had cookies. I asked, "lebkuchen" too? He said yep, and I said lets go! Enuf said!

    So here's the Cookies:

    And here's the fish.

The fishing was tough but we did catch a "Shu Limit". A Shu Limit is six fish btw, cause that's all he wants to clean.

We hit the pads first, casting and pitching, only caught one. Then we longlined, and caught none. Then we went back to pitching and casting, and caught 5 more, yay. Cookies and fish, that should be a new flavor of ice cream, don't you think.

Good cookies. I know the look of good cookies. Good job on the fish guys. They move during the day as the sun warms and so on. They can be kinda tough to find, but you wouldn’t give up. Admirable.

Monroe was gorgeous this afternoon. Of course. No time to fish. Good luck to whoever goes.

Nice pics Ed, thanks 4 sharing. Always nice when a seasoned gentleman can be famed for his 6 - pack, others have a tendency in reaching 4 the other 6 pack or 2!
