    Default Lake Talquin

Anyone heard a fishing report or water conditions for Talquin? Concerned the recent rains may have the water full of mud and trash. Was thinking abt going this wknd if weather permits.

I heard that the water is pretty well stained, but fishable. Only talked to 1 person yesterday that has fished this week and he was having some luck, but it was hit and miss. Weather not looking too bad for Saturday until after lunch....Good Luck!!

Was tough today. Lots of trash on water, muddy, and they’ve drawn the lake down some. Had to work hard for our 14 keepers today.

cold, muddy water. 52-54 degrees. river very high. open gates on the dam running a lot of water through the lake. just done raining this am-sat. 12/15. caught some nice FAT ones two days ago, but catching a lot of junk/grass/whatever on my jigs when trolling.
