Good day catchin fish & findin a place to hide from the weather !
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Mind you, this is simply what went through my mind at the time. The article was about a man named Charles Waterman. Charlie to anyone that knew him or read his outdoor writing anywhere along his over 40 year career. He was educated in many things to do with the outdoors. Those he called friend loved him dearly, a man among many men. As his career progressed there were opinions made about what he did and what a pleasure he was to be around. I thought at the time, I hope to be remembered a small percentage as well as this man has been. While he was educated he also wrote in a fashion that was entertaining which set him apart from the rest. It was said that several could write a story about some event and leave their names off of them and every reader would pick his out of the bunch. What one of his long time friends said is what stuck in my mind. While anyone could convey the information, it was Charlie that told the story. That one sentence had meaning to me. I’m not very educated by school standards and have spent most of my working life in menial blue collar work. Until I joined this site, anything i wrote went unnoticed. A lot of you folks have said that “when I tell the story, it’s like I’m sitting alongside of you”. A storyteller. I have spent many hours reading and think of this as where my ability has come from. Were I to stand alongside Charlie, I would be in the presence of greatness. You all give me a high compliment when you compliment me as many have him. Thank You.

I love a good story teller !! Thank You.

another good day at the office !
