Default So I got this bird...

So I got this bird. It's sits right there in the corner on the underside of my awning. It's been sitting there every night for the last 25 days. I never see it during the day. At first I thought it was a lost baby bird, but 25 days lost, I don't get it! Anyone have any clues what kinda bird it might be?

It's a sleeping Carolina Wren. I found similar pics online. It's an adult with feathers fluffed out for nights rest. Kinda neat to have as a neighbor. Now I know.

They're pretty neat birds to have around. They'll usually nest under a porch roof too. In a potted plant or in an old cavity of some sort.

Hey pretty cool detective work Ed! Maybe a motion-detection camera set up to capture any unique "take off" anomalies!

I have a few of them here also, and one that roosts in the same place out my back door. Had them in my grudge in TN. Neat to have around and kinda friendly once they get used to you.
