Only caught seven Crappie, but some were real nice. Wind was not bad, temp was not bad, fishing want not terrible, so good day after all. Bassman93 even tagged along with us and showed us a few things about Monroe. I got to see my old car on top of it all. I still miss it but I think it went to a nice home. It's way cleaner than it's been in years. lol

Start? Not sure what you mean. We launched later, about 9am.

What Doug said. I’ve dropped in early and had a Chinese fire drill and about 930 it’s like someone threw a switch and it’s a slow bite after that. Get outta the donut shop and on the water gewber. Sounds like a good time anyway.

Well, at least I got some good excuses! Dogs to take out, orders to box/mail, heavy construction traffic (on 46), and most importantly, I did not want to freeze Shu, dang it was cold yesterday morning! lol

Well on the subject of best time id agree with Richard, whenever you can.
I arrived at the lake on Wed. at about 8.30, and there was a guy taking his boat out already.
He said if I cant get a bite in 2.5 hours trolling in the best time of the day im leaving.
About 11 a m I had 2 fish on at the same time, and by 1.30 had caught a limit using 5 rods, which was all the conditions and catfish would allow me.
