    Default Rerun

Nervous as can be with the doctors and possible return to work, I had to do something this morning. Dropped in at seven and went back to the place I started last time out. Today wasn’t quite as good, but I had caught five species in the first fifteen minutes I was there. I’ll post a few pics later. Good trip but I think the front had an effect on em cuz by 8:15 I was looking for active fish. Caught a few but at 9:15 I was movin outa there. Ran to the last stop from last trip and found a couple of dozen crappie, two might have kept. Had enough, so hungry I could take a hostage, off to the ramp. The Warmouth in the pic wasn’t the big one but fat just the same. The gill fought like a smallmouth and was picture worthy. Hope y’all have a good day....Skeet

OK, I got it figured out. I gotta turn the camera so the buttons on the right.l

Thanks guys. The fish I got yesterday were happy, they must have gotten the news early on.
Jeff, 1/64 with a #8 and a blue thunder itty bitty swimmer. 4lb test makes it tough to cast but the 2lb Nanofil lets me fling it like it was a 1/16 on 4lb. I spent 20 minutes at the last spot getting a 1/16 and a BGBS smacked hard, no takers. Switched t this and caught fish one after the other for the next 45 minutes til I had to go. Game changer. Big fish like em too.

Good deal. Them itty bitty baits can be the ticket for sure. I use more of the Itty Bitty Slab Slayers than the swimmers but both work great. Them big Copperheads get really pissed off at them lil Slab Slayers in Black Cricket or Tadpole.

Sorry I didn’t answer your q Stan, 8 1/2”. Several gave me what for today. Hang on and hope they stay buttoned up kinda thing.

HS, I use a lot of the tadpole. When I think I should be getting more than I am I switch to the swimmers. Makes a difference sometimes. Eclipse works well for me (swimmer).

Kinda neither Doug...firm believer in "If you ain't got your health, you ain't got anything"...after all it's with you 24/7, but not always (health) by choice....certainly best wishes for clean bill of health foremost....but to answer you, also believe in "a good day at work can't hold any weight to a good day OTW"....
