You missed a beautiful morning out there. Piles of boats out. Ended up keeping 28 nice fat fish and threw back a dozen or more. Great seeing Stu out again as well as Tim managing solo after all he been through. Only going to get better. See y'all on the water.Name: 20181020_112641.jpeg

Good to see everyone out today. Lonehunter, Slow Ride, Huntinslabs and Sylvia, Marvin who stopped by the fest a couple of weeks back, I mean it was just a who’s who today. I had a good day and set a bigger than average minimum size today so I didn’t have near as many as Mike did, but I did throw back a lot of fish that could have gotten the invitation. The 2 over 12 that I had in the box got a pass and I cut out about 10:30 to help My Queen around the house. I expected Andy to show, sorry you had to work today. Also dealt with a couple of submarines, they really like my Roadrunners. Don’t know when I will get back out but I hope to see y’all when I do.

Wow.........it was good to get out...........I needed that!
It was great to see Mike and Sylvia, Skeet, and nice to meet ya Lonehunter!
I finally gave up around 10:15..............gave up counting after 50 with assorted sizes biggest being 13 inches.
8 poles out back kept me popping most of the day. Didnt even try pushing anything but the conditions were great. The fish are aggressive and a lil chunky.

The wind was still down and the fish were still active when I said "UNCLE".
This lake never stops amazing me. Its a good sign for the coming season.

Both thumbs rubbed raw and black.......aka crappiethumb..... from lipping all day. A carnage of left over plastics!

Today I woke up to "sore all over"........... and I mean sore!.....age clearly setting in!
But it was "EXACTLY" what this ole boy needed.............re-focused and ready to enjoy the season.

Sounds like a great day. Thanks for sharing the pics. Wish I woulda made it out there too but back hurtin' after my long trip, and having to catch up on tings. Next time. Shu and I been talking about maybe making a day of it over there once my back gets better, and his broken toe gets better!
