    Nice haul!
The best thing my dad ever gave me was his love of fishing.

    Nice mess of fish.

We looked for you Mike but I think by the time we worked our way up north you had headed out or were gone to the east side. We tried some single pole in the river for about 30 minutes but there’s too much flow, prob from last weeks rain. Put 1in the box and headed for the lake. Stayed til after 12 and the wind quit and the heat became miserable. We worked the west side too but didn’t do very well by normal standards. Saw O’Currans a few times and Lonehunter too. Everyone had a respectable bag. We wound up with 22 or 23 caught and 11 good fish that went in Lonehunter’s box. This fat boy was worn out and the heat had taken it’s toll so it was off to the house and a snack and a nap. Good to see everyone and wish I had caught up with you and Sylvia. Too early to speak of next weekend but I have another area I need to visit next time out. I hear some bluegill might be home, will keep you posted.......Skeet.

I love oak trees, hate every kind of palm tree. But that oak dropping leaves there is in my neighbors yard. I have a Magnolia in my yard on that side.
