Look at these. Upper right corner pick. Love these holders even though I have hi Tec on front for spider rigging on my stick steer boat. Have 4 of these for mounting on side for pulling cranks and long lining plus a 4 rack on back of boat. Very easy to adjust and can place reel behind y to keep from falling out. Call that number and talk to Gene aka E Z Poleholder on here. They are a little more expensive but well worth the money.

I bought mine from Hills Rod Holders and DIYed it. When pulling out of the back, I either make sure the rod is at an angle or if straight back, I put the reel seat in the rod holder so it can't just be pulled out. Have no problems with it spider rigging as the fish pull straight down typically. I replaced the rod holders in the first pic with the wire form ones from Hills you see in the second pic. That trolling rack is removable and I swap it onto my Lund for pulling.

Times 2 and ask Gene about mounts to put them on the rail of your pontoon.

Thanks for all the feedback this ole gal sure appreciates it. i have a flawless system now. with lil pro on brackets all the way around. of course they are not adjustasble on a square rail. i want the rods closer to the water. and even across. therefore i shall weigh all my options and feedback. i have talked to the makers at length last year when i was almost housebound so ready to make a decision soon..you all the best!!

my vote goes for SpyderLok holders, very adjustable and can buy multiple mounting plates and move to wherever you want in boat or to another boat.. Love the knobs for adjustment no wrenches required and they stay put when tightened down good. Ive got mine mounted on pontoon and they adjust high enough to fish over front/side rails no problem.
