The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Glad y'all had a good day. Crossed the bridge about 1:30 and it was mighty nasty looking out there.

Was a good day in spite of the weather.
Slab and BillBob pulled into the parking lot right as I slid off the trailer. After a short conversation we headed out to my "secret spot" lol
As we cleared the bridge it was obvious the fishing would be tough due to the wind. We made our way to the coveted honey hole only to find Slimjim already there.
After a few hours of fishing/fighting the wind, I had 15 on the clicker but only four in the box and it was time to go pick up my wife at the ramp. I managed to get to the ramp right before the rain so we stood under cover watching Slab and BB pull up looking like drowned rats.
After the rain we tried to get back on the lake but when we took one over the bow the wife was less than enthusiastic about going any further. Ha!
(thank the good lord for self bailing cockpits)

We messed around in the river and picked up 2 more which with the four Slab donated and a very nice one donated by Slimjim brought a total of 11 fish in the box.
It was great to see you guys and thanks for the fish, looking forward to next time.
Thanks Slimjim1 thanked you for this post
