An idea was presented, to change the name of the first slabfest of the season to recognize Mr. Chuck Auten, whom many remember him as being a catalyst to the FLORIDA FORM here in CRAPPIE.COM.

You guys and gals in FL never cease to amaze me...Hats off to all of you!! Originally I had planned to be there, then backed out due to the cost of accomodations for the 3 nights...Gonna do my best to be there!!! Thx again to the Central FL bunch!!!

I be coming ,No Boat getting too old to tow it at night, will bring some Great Hush Puppies I found at the commissary called Sweat corn hush puppies they are very good See ya then RR

John- Just a thought= short & sweet(yes, I know, eccentric,lol)...Chucktoberfest, or Autoberfest as the nametag event.

Looking in my Florida Atlas map book im assuming this would be the Gemini Springs Park on lake Monroe?

Billbob and I are planning on attending the "Chucktoberfest".

I shall be there Looking forward to meeting you. Considering the look I get from my dog when I try to give him anything I cooked, you may want me to bring some paper towels etc.
