    Default SOUTHERN TACKLE WORKS CLOSED


    Southern Tackle Works, Tavares, Fl. has closed shop due to loss of lease.

    Starting Saturday March 24, 2018 all crappie fishing gear is going to be 50% off. Sale is going to be until March 31, 2018.

    Stop in to Say Hi to John Franklin, Owner and tell him that you saw the information on CRAPPIE.COM.

    John phoned this morning wanting this to go on our Crappie.com, as i see you have it up here John, no need to redo. Personally John is a good friend and has been a friend of the Crappie.com . That location has been there for years and was Sandys bait store prior. John is an avid fisherman so i look foward to seeing him out on the waters in the future. OR maybe open another location. When you stop in the following few days be sure and tell him your with Crappie.com as he has always been a good supporter in the past of our slabfests locally and thank him.

    Sure hope John decides to open up another store in area

    Southern Tackle as well as Sandy's sure has been a Great Crappie fishermen supporter as well
    friend over past years.

    Me too!!!!!
    Been my FAVORITE place to get Minnows and always had Fun messing with the kid behind the register! He has a Great Personality and made it Fun to visit!
