    Default Trip to Beauclair

Went to Lake Beauclair today. 6:30 AM fog was so dense that you could not see to the end of the docks.
Motored out at trolling motor speed and using the maps in the depth finder, found the canal to Beauclair.
Dipped the reeds going into the canal with out success. Worked the North shore with limited success, nothing worthy starting up the livewell for. After the fog lifted, and could see safe travels, went to Trimble Park area and worked the reeds.
Not a great day, but haven't been on this lake in several years.
pictures show what bait was used. SLABSAUCE!!!!

I know they have been catching them on Dora. I will be down on Monday for 10 days of fishing around.

    Very nice !! Go Slabsauce
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
