Hello Friends ....... been awhile.
Was lucky enough to sneak out a few times myself this season and enjoy that elusive “week day” fishing stuff. New holder, poles, and transport racks on the newly reconfigured ride left me excited to get out.

After missing most of last year traveling.......... it sure felt great just sitting in the boat on a beautiful lake. Low expectations, enjoying the moment, resulted in an unexpected windfall of excess bites and 2lb beauties, all released to enjoy another day. Hard to get much better.

This ‘weekday’ fishing stuff is really nice.

Back on the road again ....... but planning the next trip in my mind.
Sure was nice getting out...........really makes you appreciate the simple things in life............everyday is a blessing.

Dang, that'd be a calendar shot if it weren't for the glare coming off that noggin. Just kidding Stu, I could not resist (besides, Danny started it). Glad your getting back on the water. You got to do something about that jay oh bee that keeps gettin' in the way.

Great sunset and fish pics, April can't get here soon enough so EVERYONE need to practice catch and release till the end of March.

Good fish Mike, we got down in that area a little late about 10:30, I think...was like bumper cars around both ends of the canal

Time to venture again into the frozen wastelands of north for that dreaded ......job stuff.

But its sure been some fun. Ive had my fill of blessings these past few weeks and fill somewhat .....very very content.

It’s amazing what a few days of fishing can do to ones soul. Left them biting every trip.......the grub carnage was amazing, the thumb black, worn, and raw from lipping’em all day.

Released them all to fight another day, for the next guy or gal to decide.

Can’t wait to get back! Be safe out there friends
