Size:  50.2 KBNot really Vic...here is a West Central Florida Red that has surpassed my p/b by 5 with a total of 25 spots! I think one of the parents had possibly gotten romantic with a Speckled trout. Also include from this recent trip was a beautiful pod of American white Pelicans that can have a wingspan of 9 feet. Talk about some fish scouts! The allure of the brine environment continues for me, just never know what the next bite or bend of the river will yield.

    nice pics. those white pelicans come to T hill every fall and are spectacular to watch attack shad balls and just flying around.

    Good looking red that would win a spot contest anywhere. Good stuff in the brine, but not in my boat.

    I was in a contest one time where I caught a 22 spot'r, but ...... was 1/2 inch too short ...
    My buddy was stomping on it trying to make it grow a half inch = messed it all up.
    We woulda won a brand new Geenue with trailer, but.....Was not to be ......
