The second time on Lochloosa and first on Sampson and last on Sampson to much ell grass or some kind of grass you had a 200 yard spot you could fish right in the middle of the lake Three boats to many and only three on the lake two trolling and one still fishing, We left home Thursday morning at 5:30, A 4 to 4 and a half hour drive to lake. And about 10am fount Lake put in canal in 2-3 foot deep with grass, moved to middle of lake in deeper water (9 to 10 feet) caught 3 fish in 2 and half hours we packed it in and down Highway 301 we went 30 to 40 miles to a good lake, not saying in its time Sampson ain't We put in at Lochloosa around 3or4 fished till the sun went down we caught 64 crappie and kept 34 this is where we need to be,we call in to the marina to see if they had a cabin and they did for two nights we were on,went in took a shower and we went for seafood at Sam's -ST John's 30 fried shrimp (good eats) went back to cabin and called it a night got up ad 6am got ready and fished till 12 come in for two to three hours got a nap in(OLD GRAY MARE AIN'T LIKE I USE TO BE) fished till sun went down. Went and cleaned up went to Dianne's old time barbeque good place talked to some of the regulars eating there and fount out Dianne is Sonny BQ's daughter so it had to be good went to cabin and got ready for a couple hours Saturday fish loaded up and came back to middle Georgia. weather 55 to 60 at night, 70 to 80 in the day time wind 3to 8 miles hour could not ask for a better fishing trip. had to put a sheet around the boat to kept the fish form jumping in the boat we caught all the fish we wanted. P.S will be going the third and fourth and so on. Did I tell you I like to eat (TWO PEOPLE FISHING).

Where did you stay on lochloosa I was considering a trip there at loochlooda harbor rv Park. Also saw twin lakes on the channel between the two. Can. Boat get between the two? I have a Lund deep v with a 115 as well as a 9.9hp kicker motor. I figure if fishing is slow there is other places with in an hour coming down first week of February from Chicago area for a week

it has not been above freezing here for a week. Another two weeks until we get above freezing. I was on a frozen pond drilling through four inches to get some bluegills
