Ya know, I did make up a big ole pot of Jambalaya with lots of hot sausage and shrimp last night ......
And ate a goodly helpin (or two) ..........
Might've made me awful tired by this morning, of course, I had a few bites of the stuff this
morning when I got up too ........

I feel OK right now, still don't know if I feel like dragging the boat all the way over there etc, etc, etc ....

Had the clock set to go off at 4:30, but woke up at 3:30, decided to just go ahead and get up, hate the sound
of that alarm. Got boat all loaded up, had an hour to wait till lift off = sitting there, noding off, watching crap commercial TV .......
Got ready, even went in bedroom and kissed ole lady bye. Got to front door and was thinking of that drive all the way over to Sanford.
Gamble that it might be too windy ........................ I just threw the towel in and said to myself " heck with it" ....

I might be reaching "Burn Out", don't know yet. A fail at Harney (much closer) didn't help, A failed engine didn't help either......
A failed GPS don't help, I got an new one in the mail, should get here soon. I ordered it then started reading a lot of bad reviews
about it (Hook-7) so, that's probably gonna be a bust too .............

Last night I even hesitated about posting that I was going, thinking that it wouldn't look good if I posted I was going then didn't go, so, that might insure me to the commitment etc. etc......

Hmmmm, gonna go and ponder this situation for awhile ..................

Now Danny, you got a reputation to uphold.

I can't eat big and go to bed. My thought is that the body is busy digesting the food and doesn't rest properly. Might explain some of the sluggish feeling. Whatever it may be, I hope you're up and running soon, I need some Phantom reports!!

    Ha ! ! ! ! ! !

This is how it works for me ........................>>>>>>>>>>>>
Was on the lake the other day, GPS crapped out (GPS Module not responding). It did that a few years ago, I took it to some geniuses
and they said I needed a new antenna, and I got one, then they say I got to install new software = I did and GPS has worked beautifully
ever since, but fish finder didn't work worth a ding dang, however, I could live with it........

Now, at this late date (11 years later since I bought the unit) it tells me that "GPS Module Not Responding" again ! ! I figure the unit is finally
giving up the ghost and ordered a new one (came in today). Got it un-boxed and hooked it up on the bench = works good ....

Just as a thought, I took old unit out there and installed on boat, just to make sure it indeed was shot ===== IT WORKED PERFECTLY ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

So, now what am I going to do = I'm going to install the Sonar sending unit in the bottom of the boat, run the wire on up the console, connect the other
wire to 12V and then I'll have two sonar units and two sets of 12V wires so that I can interchange units etc, etc,
Don't know how long my old one is going to last, but I'll be ready with this new one if it does etc, etc, etc ......

Danny, did you hook the connectors from the new d-finder to the old unit? Sure sound like a wiring issue with the old unit, should maybe go through old wiring & cut back connections to good wire as well as your power switch & switch itself=maybe power, but weak, at least now you can throw 1 up front, mount you a chair & tight-line
