Default Done better than originally thought.....

1st let me say what a beautiful morning yesterday it was on the water, blue-bird skies & slick surface all the time out. Was fishing Monroe with oh say 50 other boats & the bite was "ON." Decided I was not going to keep anything under 12", so never used the clicker....stocking up 50# to take home to extended family at Xmas & what a serious dent was put into that #. Ended up cleaning 20 fish & definite Meat-Eaters...(7)=14" (9)=13" (4)=12" hitting mostly jigs, but a few on road-runners, forgot my 4ft beetle spin ugly stik poles Stopped by to check out Crappieday, he was catching as usual, good chatting with ya Andy. Headed in at 11am & the story gets even cooler at this point, see I was working out of town the previous week in Stuart & meet a couple mechanical guy's & started talking fishing/hunting ect...& by the end of the week Tyler challenged me that he was going to shoot a hog & we'd see how I fair at speck fishn' Well even though he never got a hog there was a good reason, he sent me a text of how close he was to this Bobcat in photo below, really cool stuff I thought....what it's all about enjoying God's given outdoors. A li'l help rotating photos please, were right side up on my end & after seeing Tyler's photo better, looks like he needs to fix the date on that hunting camera, still very cool all the same.......he said we have to plan a trip speck fishing, just might have another member HOOKED

I got out there late I think, ran by the flotilla, eventually came can to it and everyone was gone.

Ended up with 4, pair of 13.5 & 14, and a couple dinks. Fileted at ramp and have em to my buddy I took out fir the first time. Always amazes me on what I believe is a really slow day, coworker had a blast. Can't ever take that kind of thing for granted.

Side note the one pound test outfit got one short strike but was the only rod to not catch a fish. Next time is just a few days away and I couldn't be more grateful to live less than 10 min from this lake.
