A day on the water with the boys! sounds like a good day to me. Thanks for the report.
Got a late start, after fixing the trailer lights and putting the batteries back in the boat went out to kill some time on the chain. Me and da boys go the lines wet at around the crack of noon. I know what your thinking post front, blowing 20+mph fishing should be great.... I got Slabs limit: 1 crappie. I managed not to get skunked, added 2 cats as well. Went ahead and ran the traditional 15 rod spread pushing and pulling, bump trolling from 0.5-1.5 mph (wind made it interesting). Water 72-73F degrees. Fished for about 3.5 hours then called it a day. Had a good time with the boys. May go saltwater this weekend, let that water cool down abit more before I give it another go. Tight Lines

I was out there the day before you in the same conditions with my nephew in 2 kayaks. Was a fun adventure...also with a Slab limit of 1!!

A man remembered never dies.
The water is up higher this year than previous years, maybe that's got the fish off, or the post front had them shut down. Saturdays conditions were windy as well, hope you were fishing the leeward side of a lake.
