    Default Clermont crappie?

I am going to be headed down to Florida for my nieces wedding in early December and I know I'm going to have a bunch of time before and after the event......would like to do some crappie fishing in the Clermont area. Boat isn't a problem, my wifes family has the boat but they don't fish.
I was hoping someone could point me in a direction and any advice you can give me, which is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Don't get down that way..... Hopefully someone down there will chime in and help you out.... If you don't hear from someone just check out a baitshop for info. Good luck

If Stu happens to check in he can give lots of pointers on that chain. Maybe send him a pm. He goes by Slowride on here.

I would love to help u out, but just started on Crappie. I get about 4 a WEEK on a good week and fish almost daily for 3 hrs. The Bobby Garland monkey milk with tail dipped in chart is my best presentation. Not sure water visibility in Clermont, but here lately ours has been down to 4-6 feet.

Johns Lake is good. Lake Louisa is good. Google the ramps. Most any lake you can get into is good right now. Probably even catch some in Lake Apopka, maybe.

Steve, we live about 45 minutes from Clermont and you are more than welcome to come try out the 11 acre private lake we live on. It's electric motor only...good thing I have a 2 seater pond prowler with trolling motor Pm me if interested and we can set it up.
