    His bite is worse than his bark. Keep a close eye on that. Medical centers may be without power soon. Go back asap if it gets worse.

    What elkhunter said WILL work, but u have to hold it down till it gives up. That's how you become the alpha on a lot of dog species. I raise German shepherds and that's what I do to all of them. Works wonders. Seems cruel but it works. These shepherds make quite a scene sometimes when I do it.

    Had a jack russle that was the same way, with a few people. By the time it was about 5, I had to put her down.
    Bred a little close to the tree, I assume.....

    Howdy All;

    I'll 3rd or 4th the on the back routine, have had several adopted dogs,
    Chessy, mutt, and most recent a Border Collie has worked extremely well
    for all ... so far. The chessy and the border collie are both known to be
    team players they just need to remember who the coach is.

    Mom and daughter are here at my house riding out Irma. The biter is here too but he's relegated to puppy jail. He don't get along with me, and he don't seem to get along with abbey either. My daughter brought her into the house with a muzzle on and since he was still anti social he's relegated to jail.

    Unhappy

    Yep! That's the same "I'm lead dog" stare, the J.R. had, "Tear Drop". Tried for years to make it work out. Till it bit my son.
    That was the last straw. Hate to take one out.......

    Slab watch that cellulitis doesn't set in. Get treatment quickly. Cellulitis occurs when bacteria, most commonly streptococcus and staphylococcus, enter through a crack or break in your skin. It can be very serious.
