Time will tell. Getting thru recovery and summer vacation, lookslike it will be in the middle of July before I can experiment with the fishing on the waters.

That is OK this problem has been "festering" for 6-7 years. It got to the point that it bothered me trying to thread the line thru the eye of the fish hook.
When it affects your fun time, it is time for corrective action.

Surgery went well, got to the hospital at about 5:00 AM, was requested to be there by 6:00 AM. (Ask speckanator about my being on time) Got registered and admitted got in to the "surgery prep room and had a wait of over an hour before the surgeon arrived, surgery was scheduled at 8:00 AM.

At 8:00 AM was delivered to surgery and the procedure was over before 9:00 AM. Went to the recovery room and was discharged from there by 9:45AM. Was driven home by my wife, and got home by 10:30 AM.

Post Op visit with Doctor (Surgeon) Monday morning, removed patch, examined eye and said everything is GOOD. Need to wear the patch over the eye when sleeping, drops in the eye every 4 hours. Next office visit in a week.

Probably the "easiest" surgery that I have experienced. Been thru back 3 times, last time left with two rods about 12 inches long each, attached with total of 8 screws. cataract 3 times, one eye twice.

Not looking forward for any more, but was told long ago, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY CONFIDENCE IN YOUR DOCTOR, YOUR RECOVER WILL NOT BE AS YOUR HAD HOPED FOR.
THANKS FOR ALL OF THE REPLIES.
