    I stopped in SOUTHERN TACKLEWORKS, 325 E. Burleigh Blvd, Tavares, Fl 32778, this morning.
    Was the third one to sigh up, They indicated that the supplies/paperwork was delivered yesterday.
    On the back of the TOKEN there is a ad for JOLLY GATOR Fish Camp, so maybe one can sigh up at the launch site at Harney.

    Thanks John caught your post just before heading out of work and made a detour before home Thank you very much for the update. Nice guys over there at SOUTHERN TACKLE WORKS, great lil bait and tackle shop with usually excellent stock. I also become the messenger of bad news for all us slab hunters also joining in on the Derby fun....................VIC and EILEEN are officially entered this year and their continued quest for the 3 pound Crescent FATTY continues

    My money is on Eileen................ Vic is still trying to win back that buck he lost to me from last year so .........just saying

    And congrads again to our very own Speckanator Mike, Grand Derby Champ 2014-2015. Lets see if we can keep that going again in the CDC family another year.

    I saw sign up material at Tackleworks. The old Sandys in Tavares today so they must have put out everywhere else to?

    Hey group....I got a email from Charlie.... He wants everyone to send in lots of pics.... He has random prizes and he wants to put several on face book..... Also prizes for best picture etc.

    I still haven't found a sign up place, prolly go to Gander in Lake Mary tonight or tomorrow.

    I asked the lady checking guns at the little desk, she asked customer service and they asked a manager, I then went and asked in fishing. All just looked OO ???????????????????? Did pick up a nice rod on sale though, so was not a waisted trip

    So, I went home Tues after work & told the wife I needed to go to Gander Mountain...
    she looked at the pile of tackle that I have & said, yea right for what??
    I explained that the derby was back on & that's where I had to go to sign...
    she said sure, you got enough tackle though
    So I walked in Gander & asked the front desk & yes got the "I dunno what your talkin about look"
    they sent me to fishin dept & the kid found everything & signed me up
    Left the store with a handful of tackle & a toy for the boy
    then went to Academy to see how bad they screwed up the crappie inventory & man it sucks
    The wife looked sad since she didn't get anything so I offered to buy dinner...
    well that worked, everyone's happy

    Finally got signed up, off to search for that 16" speck

    Feel free to come by Mud Hole in Oviedo, we have the sign up sheets on the front counter. We also print the rulers for them every year so if they are off, you know who to blame (BTW the rulers are in fact off slightly)
