    Default Mom is loving florida

We watch the weather from back home and my mom never wants to go back. Oh no. Lucky we got an extra bedroom for her. She finally got to taste some "real" fresh Crappie. I don't often keep crappie as most in my family don't like to eat what I cook. They say they don't like fish, but I think it's more my cooking they don't like. Anyway, Mom wanted some fresh Crappie, and I went and found some. Nope, not Griffin, more like Monroe, but crappie non-the-less. Thanks Speckanator for another wonderful trip, but you need to put some sticky stuff on them bunkers! lol

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

My in-laws were here too. They all loved the fresh fish. No fishy smell there. Fried up simply enough in a fry pan. It went fast. Might have to keep more crappie, well at least while I got me some fish eaters visiting. Like I said, at home I'm the only one that'll eat it.

That's great Slab. I am sure Mom likes Fl. weather, but I think that old Slab kind of like it too!!!
Can't always blame everthing on Mom
Man those are some nice fish. I wish I could have made it to Fl. this year, but things didn't work out that way.
P.S. Slab KEEP AN EYE ON THAT GUY FROM VIRGINA!!!!(Anchor Man). He could be a danger to our Fl. crappie Population.
