I was the one that you met. Very nice to have met you and have a nice chat. We did get 7 that day. As usual Miss Tater caught the big one. Like you said. The bite was before we went or it is after we leave. LOL Here is the big one for the day.
Hope they come out. I haven't posted photo's before.

Looks like you 2 got some nice fish last week .. I had to take my boat back to the shop (again) this week to have the tilt motor replaced for the second time in 3 months.
I am going to check with them today after Dr appointment to see if they fixed it yet and if so we are going back this week end and then try later in the afternoon until dark or after..

GaryV, Went on New Years day and boy it was slow. Caught a few in about 4 to 6 ft. I like to tip my jigs with minnows. Hard to figure them out. I heard that some caught showed signs of the tail a little torn up like they have been fanning beds...??? Anyway, I hope to get back down there soon. Good luck

By the way... I was using 1/16 oz bright orange jig heads with a blue speck tube bait. Hope this helps. I don't seem to see many people actually saying what they use on this site. Big secret.... lol

Keep the reports coming. A friend and I will be at Blue Cypress the week of March 24th. Will be hitting Blue Cypress, Stick Marsh /Farm 13, Kennansville and Garcia. Any reports would be appreciated as I drool in the cold, snowy Ohio weather.
