Thank you for the birthday wishes. Didn’t get to wet a line, but my brother and I did put in several miles of hiking/scouting a, new to us, hunting area. Just being able to get out and enjoy the outdoors is a much appreciated blessing. I think I will change tradition though, from now on I want oysters on the half-shell in place of candles on a cake to celebrate my birthday.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
