    Crappie are really hitting in about six feet of water over by the old power plant... I dont really matters what you are using... Friday we kept 50 really nice ones.. a few over two pounds... spider rigging about five feet deep... started at about 8... ran out of bait at about noon... mostly the ones we cleaned were all males.... and the few females that had eggs.. were not near ready... good luck

    hope to get down to villages with my buddy bymo to do some spec fishing and want to get to Monroe. Thanks for the update! Soon as my wife gets healed up from her couple of surgeries we hope to be down there
