First I would like to personally give Moose and Hillbilly a big congrats on their first victory with FCC.
I was not able to make it to this tournament but from what i understand the day started out calm and
warm and went downhill from there temps rose and so did the wind. By noon it got hard to fish for some
but everyone still managed some fish!! We didnt see any Two pounders like we did in the fall but the winning
weight was still very respectable!!!

BIG thanks to EVERYONE who came to fish this southern tournament, we hope to
see turnouts in the southern zone increase so we can keep some of the lakes on the schedule.
Its likely that we will be reducing tournaments in the southern zone and replacing them
with tournaments in the northern region due to better attendance and overall better fishing!!



Our next tournament is on lochloosa out of the county ramp behind the post office
on Highway 301 on may 12Th 2018!!!

Congrats Moose & Hillybilly. My wife and I stopped by there a couple of years back and talked with a speck fisherman, who was camping there, and he had been having some real nice catches.
