    Default Cool snakes

been seeing lots lately , is that time of year here , breeding , bearing and moving around on the hunt is their thing in the warmer months .
found a splendid hognose yesterday at our place in the country and saw a nice water snake , the day before elsewhere .
none were harmed , just saying

sure do put on the show , my wife saw it in a plum thicket as we drove by , her eyes amaze me sometimes ,,,,
she said SNAKE and I said where and she said in the bushes and its yellow .....
back up the truck , took me a while to see it and then thought it was bull snake as I only saw its tail as it tried to leave .
when I did figure out it was a rather yellowish hognose it made my day , they are pretty darn cool to play with for sure .
