    Default Beer and snake story

I was fishing this past summer, hot day but found a school of crappie. Just lost my last minnow when I saw a little snake swimming by with a minnow in its mouth so I reached down and grabbed him but he would not let go of the minnow. I had just opened a cold beer so I poured a little on his head to shock him. Sure enough he let go. Dropped him back in the water, rigged up and started fishing. Few minutes later I heard a tapping on the side of boat. Looked over and there was the little snake with another minnow in his mouth.

If my fishing relied on minnows may day would have been over. LOL

Surprised to hear "Little Snake" in a beer drinkin' snake tellin' story.
Those usually begin with "And then, about that time, a great big ol' snake"...
