Spent an hour or so sharing my fishing experience on here, hit “submit thread”, and got nothing but a blank screen. Story lost now

Ive done the same, might have invented a couple of new colorful words shortly after that.

Worked about 6 hours on a robot program at work. Stepped away to grab a bite to eat. IT Department pushed a software update to the laptop while I was gone. Came back to a freshly rebooted laptop with no robot program on it. Back up often is a good idea

As the mod of this thread all I can say is sorry. Has happened to most of us at one time or another. But really now we want the story. "D"

I learned to "Copy" every long post I make prior to hitting the submit button. I've had it happen several times on other forums, though I don't think I've had it happen on CDC before.

For long posts or replies I always type into a word processor first. Make sure my spelling and grammar is correct and then copy the text and paste it into C.C.
