Default For All You Hummingbird Owners

I mostly night fiosh anchored but am planning on getting bavck into daytime fishing, slow trolling minnows/jigs out front of the boat and possible long lineing jigs this spring. My question is:

Currently I have a HB 727 on the console and need another finder up front. I have about settled on the 565. Should I move the 727 to the front and mount the 565 on the console or would you put the 565 on the trolling motor since the 727 is already mounted? Also, tell me why you made the decision you did. Thanks.

I would leave the 727. It is better suited for searching for spots. I put my 797 on the console for that purpose and use my matrix on the front for moving in on the spots that I find

They will be interchangable, so pull them off and move them around til you find your combo.

Check out the 575 Quad beam. Helps a bit finding stuff out to the sides and tells you which side. I bought one before I got the 997. I liked the 575.

I have a 737 on the front with a TM mounted transducer. On the console I have a 787. I couldn't get over the price on the 797. I really like the Quad beam of the 737 so I have it mounted in back. But I did spent the money on a Motor guide wireless TM. Now that baby is the ticket! I can sit in the drivers seat watch my lines and the 787 still controlling the TM. The remotes are the bomb.
