    If you look at the top of the arches, what ever that is is very reflective. That likely means you were picking it up along ways off and it registered before you ever got near it. That slope distance makes the distance greater till your directly over it. I don't think a chain would reflect that well, but some thing hollow might.

    If you had a HB 997c SI you could see what it was! Scan it from all sides zoom in on it and take a picture or record it on a SD card. I love my 997c SI Best thing I ever purchased, Besides my Ranger Boat. If you don't have one better get one.

    Remember you can't take your money with you when you are dead and gone! You will be happy with it if you get you one.:D

    Did you notice the data block on the first picture? That is the main reason I don't have a SI now. I can record almost 40 hrs of data, review it at my leisure, and get that info from any place on the recording. If Humminbird ever gets that feature I'll be first in line to get one.
