Garmin answer to GPS accuracy at slow speeds.

I have calculated grounds speeds vs ping rate (refresh position every 1 sec) of gps. It want work good at slow speeds. Here is why according to Garmin rep.

That's right. Until the Government allows John Doe the consumer access to a more accurate GPS positioning system this will remain true. Even if someone figures out how to correctly determine direction of travel while at slow speeds with our current GPS system we will still be stuck with the same accuracy we have access to right now.

Wow!!!! This place has the answers to questions that I didn't even know how to ask. The slow speed accuarcy has always bee a small problem that I over came with sonar. This explains why the darn brush piles seem to keep moving on me.
