Use one bank and tape the other, best practice for the charger.
My nephew has a Pro Mariner 2 bank charger. He wants a know if he can charge 1 battery by using both banks or just use 1 bank and tape the other bank.
Thanks

What he said !
I had A 4 bank charger on a previous boat that I had with all being utilized and one of the banks went out so I kept using the 3 that were still working and a friend gave me a spare 2 bank that he wasn’t using! I wrapped one up with tape real good and used the other one for over a year with no issues!
Too blessed to be stressed!
We take the fuses out of the unused bank usually.

I really appreciate the replies. Passed this information on to my nephew and he has his charger working now.
Thanks again

Had a 3 bank pro Mariner that charged 2 batteries wired in parallel and did fine. If I am not mistaken most of the Pro Mariners will compound the charge to the batteries. If one battery on the charger is full it will shift the capacity to the other battery to charge it faster
