That's the thing, you can learn so much from Livescope and see the fish. Doesn't mean they going to bite though.
I was invited to fish with a guy who is really good with Livescope. I had never seen one operate live before. It was a hoot! I learned a great deal about fish behavior on our trip. I was really surprised by the number of fish that would get very close to my jig, watch it for a bit, then swim away. I likened it a great deal to hunting. Finding them was one thing. Catching them was another. I had a ball, and we ended up with a nice box of fish.

I'm still learning my Active Target, fun and frustrating at the same time. There's a reason it's still called fishing, not catching. LOL
IMO, LS is the single biggest learning tool for Crappie. More so especially since I fish clearwater lakes for Crappie.
