    Default LiveScope On/Off question

I repowered my LS/1222 settup. I put entire settup on dedicated Lithium battery. I have been unplugging Positive connection when not fishing. When I turn system off with graph, does that kill the power to Blk Bx and transducer also?

It will, but the box still draws a tiny bit of power. Need to put it on a switch or keep unplugging the battery.

I put my Garmin on sleep mode while traveling on the water, and have an in-line switch to turn the power off to the black box when the device isn't in use. Just a plain on/off toggle switch works fine - I use the marine grade switch with the rubber boot.

After shutting down my 93sv’s linked together I still heard my livescope ducer pinging never noticed this before. It did quit after killing the switch that powers the electronics. I always disable the ducer while running longer spots and while doing updates. I have read the ducer can overheat if not in the water

When on the water go to sonar setup then click transmit & turn it off. When getting to you next fishing spot click transmit again to turn it back on. As far as when parked at home you either need a master to turn power off to everything or a dedicated power switch specifically for the live scope system that will cut power off to the black box. I made a battery box that i have installed in a rod locker with a fused power switch that turns the complete system off when i'm done fishing. When fishing i just turn transmit off at the head unit on the sonar set up page & when i get to my next spot i turn transmit back on. When loading up to go home i just reach into the rod locker after turning head unit off & turn main power switch off. Get home & charge when parking in garage & good to go next time.
