My pvc pole mount which is mounted on starboard (right side of boat) the bottom of transducer level will be forward mode. 1 click down is down mode.
Well if everybody aint tired of answering questions about LS I've got a few. I got a Garmin Echomap UHD 93SV about a year ago and just recently purchased the LS 32 transducer, black box and an Amped Outdoors 30amphour lithium battery. I run the 93SV on a Optima blue top dual cranking/deep cycle battery. Can"t remember the amp hours or CCA of the Optima. Can i run just the black box on the Amped Outdoors battery? Or should it be hooked to the same battery as the graph? Also I have the GT54UHD transducer mounted on a Fishing Specialties pole. Can I mount the LS transducer on the same pole or will the two transducers cause interfence with each other? Ok and here is probably the dumbest question of all. When i mount the LS transducer which way is forward the flat side or the pointed side? It isnt clear to me in the mounting instructions???? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Garmin CS told me you can run Blk bx and graph off 2 seperate sources, they just need to have a common ground
I have my pole on the starboard side of boat & my transducer's on the starboard side of my pole too. If i had the pole port side i'd mount the transducer on the port side of the pole too just because it would be on the outside of the hull instead of next to it which would be less likely to hit it on. Truthfully it probably doesn't matter which side of the pole it's mounted on i'd think.
I've saw posts somewhere on this & they claim it works fine but i personally don't know.
I run my 34 LS , Box , and 12UHD all off a 32AH Amped battery. More than enough for 2 full days fishing. You'll be fine to use your Amped for LS and finder and leave the cranking battery to start engine. That way there is no interference on LS components.
