    Default Marking waypoints?

I have a helix at console interlinked to another helix at bow. Also have a dedicated livescope only with echomap uhd 93 sv with a pole mount at the bow. When you're marking waypoints how do you mark them? With the helix units & then find the tree, brush pile etc. that you're marking (if you stop to fish it at the time that is) with your livescope unit & mark it too? I was just wondering about slowing the processor down in the garmin if i save a bunch of stuff in it. Thanks

On the bird just press mark. Then go to maps and find the numbered waypoint and go to it.
I don’t use my Garmin for anything but livescope.

Chuck that's what i'm doing. I Thought about marking some of the better ones on the 93 sv too incase something happened to the birds but will probably pass on that idea.

I had a Lowrance 7" touch screen in my console when I got my boat. I moved it to the front to use for waypoints only. I installed a Garmin 943XSV in the console. I have it linked to my 1222 in the bow. I can save waypoints while driving view them on my 1222 then simply save them to my Lowrance while I'm fishing it. Hopefully I can pick up a used Garmin some day so I can save waypoints directly to my map unit on the bow.

I too use Garmin just for livescope. I have a Humminbird 1199 right beside it on maps just to mark /go to cover . Set one side on 10' scale and other side on 100' scale . Figure less I have to mess with units then get more fishing done .

Get right over cover with livescope then hit mark on Humminbird
