I made this & put a tennis ball on the tee for a bounce buster. With the Scotty mount I can adjust it if needed to help keep it from bouncing when lying on the deck too. Simply loosen a handle & lay it down to stow when running & raise up & tighten a handle to hold in position. Works great & only cost was the tee since I already had the Scotty mount. As you can see I also have a bench style bicycle repair stand for my pole mount. The white pipe is just a dry fitting to see what I thought about using it.

The height was what i was concerned with but i may end up making a set of double seats to see if sitting helps any before making a taller mount.

I am 400+ miles from my boat or I would send you pictures. The razor mount is what I used. I went to a local resale shop and got one for a whopping $3.60. A few stainless bolts, some hacksaw and grinder work and I have less than $5 in it. Swivels, and can be locked up or down with the press of a lever. The Garmin mount fits inside the razor shaft without having to do any modifications. go to youtube. There is videos there on how to do it.
Crappie spawning and morels popping up at the same time. What was God thinking when he made that schedule. It's pure torture every spring deciding which to do.
Thanks grizwilson, moecarama thanked you for this post

Two knobs and you can remove completely from boat if need be. I know other members are using this set up. My boat is in storage away from my house or I would send you a pic. Adjustability is what sold me.
Interested in installing this with a UHD93SV Is the R-200 Spyderlok what you are referring to? Anybody got any pics of this setup ?

Yes kycreek. The r-200 works well. As stated I'm running a 1022 garmin is what I have mounted on the top. My unit is mounted between rod holders and my seats where everything is easy reach for adjustments .
