What about vertical jigging from a double seat?

I don’t think the tv bracket will work to raise/lower the screen. Now a computer monitor mount might work as they have a gas charged cylinder inside to hold them. I have a triple screen mount on my desk at work that hold three 21” screens. You can adjust height angle and rotate then most any direction.

Actually the pole on the inside pulls out to make it longer so I could put a pto pin through both inner & outer instead of a bolt to hold it solid at whatever height i want & pull pin & lay down when i want to move. It will swivel 90*. It also has a couple different ways to assemble it & it would work easily but after talking with pappy i may end up just making or buying a double seat mount so i can sit instead of standing all day. 8 to 10 hour days looking down really get to my neck & shoulders so sitting may be a better option. Would definitely be easier on the neck i'd say & could rest the arm holding the rod on my leg so that would surely help too. Do most vertical jig standing or sitting?

I sit and fish generally. Sometimes stand if I’m really flipping it out there. I just got LS and haven’t fished it yet but used it looking and learning how it works. There’s tons of diy mounts on YouTube. From razor scooters to tv mounts to iron pipe. Foldable to rigid to sliding.

I fabricated one from 2"x2" aluminum angle 1/4-20 Ubolt,Knobs, conduit clamp, and conduit plug. It's adjustable up & down cost about $20 to build actually built two.

With these taller fold down mounts is there any problems with the graph bouncing or vibrating against the boat deck or mount supporting larger units when folded down.

From what I hear the Beatdown mount is the way to go. Pricey but work very well and is super solid.

Could always strap it down. I have hit waves hard enough to bounce a foot controlled trolling motor off the deck and into the water when it wasn't strapped down

Can't be good for them. If I ever went this route I think I would have to use something to pad it, a throwable cushion comes to mind.
