Voltage check ,before you give it to the morgue….
My 2 cents , sounds like a slight drop to me , hopefully that is all it is ….
If the mother board took a time out it is likely toast

I can’t even see the backlights behind the control buttons light up when I try to power it up.
Did you try the hard reset?

    I’ve done everything.Voltage is perfect
Can’t do a hard reset because it won’t power up.
    Tried to do one.
It acts like it don’t have any power going to it.
I’ve tried it at 2 different power stations and I checked power at both 12.45 volts
It’s got to be the mother board or something internal

There's a company that works on them (clearcast) I think it's named, you could call them and check on fixing it...If you decide not to fix it and it were mine I'd be taking it apart and looking for broken wires were the power comes in,and other places...some times there's used mother boards on eBay..
I had the GPS quite on a gen2 a few years ago took it apart and all that was wrong was the wire ribbon had came off it connection.

I took it apart after talking to Lowrance.Didn’t see any visible sign of anything wrong. I don’t have a way to check the motherboard but I suspect that’s the problem.
It’s still under the prorated warranty but IMO Lowrance made me a stupid offer of $50 diagnostic plus $1350.00 replacement fee and shipping with only a 6 month warranty.
Everybody has these head units on sale right now for around $1800 with full warranty because they are closing them out to introduce there new units for 2023
