Picked up two 100 watt speakers at a good will that are in very good condition for about 3.00 dollars each, thinking of ordering a 12v volt amp with blue tooth on it and just use my phone and make it wireless, Been reading how to make these speakers water proof, says to make shure the speaker cone is dry the spray it with waterproof spray that you use on your tent,or fabric then wrap it in plastic then put it back in the enclosure im going to try that.if i loose a 3.00 dollar speaker ill try something else, its not rocket science so i think it will work.if it dont ill try the bluetooth speakers nest thank you dockshooterjack.

Install them the way they are, if they get ruined go to plan B. I did put them in plastic electrical boxes on cords that I could set speakers were I wanted in the boat. Traded the boat 20 years later and they still worked.

I’d recommend Skar marine speakers. They are cheap and sound great.

A $30 water proof, rechargeable, Bluetooth speaker is what I have. I don't use it much but it sounds good and is easy to use.

Yep. That’s what I take when I want to listen to a ballgame.
    Mainly baseball and football.

Bose has a wireless Bluetooth speaker that floats now. It also would connect to the other Bose speaker we currently have and do surround sound. Been thinking about that one for months now but usually I just enjoy the silence and nature when I’m on the water.
