midnight blue .
I know there are a lot of variables but I'd like to hear what some of your favorite settings are to start out with. I'm wondering do you do any settings different for very shallow water compared to deeper water. I tried some different colors today Moss, Caribbean, etc. but still went back to Amber.

amber, moss, blue or black emerald depending on light. Yep on the 93 sv you have to adjust in shallower water usually reducing gain. I've also noticed a lot of pollen etc. suspended in the water column makes you have to adjust gain, noise reject etc. to get the best views.
GarminGuru on YouTube just released video on new update and he really stresses the point about the amber color palette. I’m going to really look hard at it next time I go and see if details are any better.
Amber for me also
