Garmin to Humminbird
I lost my Garmin display unit, and luckily had the majority of my waypoints backed up. I recently purchased a Helix 10 Chirp MEGA SI GPS G2N. I've got the .gpx file exported and saved from Active Captain from Garmin. Problem I'm running into is I'm operating from a computer that won't allow Humminbird PC to be loaded (admin protected from external programs or alternate computer is a Macbook). I've ran the .gpx through GPSBabel, as well as the GPSVisualizer program. I save the resulting file to my SD card (32GB). Card shows the .hwr file on it, but when I insert into the Helix, nothing shows.
Suggestions?

Gentleman on BBC Forums helped me.
Create a folder on computer named "MATRIX". Copy .hpw file into MATRIX folder. Copy "MATRIX" folder onto SD card. Insert card into Helix and viola! I've spent close to 3-4hrs this AM trying to figure out how to do this without Humminbird PC and he replied within minutes with a simple 30 second procedure. The power of the www. is incredible.
