Dakota offers a 12v 60ah 1000cca general purpose lithium battery good for cranking and electronics so they claim. Anyone else offer something similar ? Dakota is pricy. Googled so much that all batteries look the same. Help me out here. NEED a lightweight battery. Old age problem here.

I have 4 of these AMPED 60ah batteries for troll motors. Don't know about cranking boat motors with them. Some are not for cranking motors. The Dakota specifies 1000cca 60A 12v, dual purpose. I have walmart dual purpose 12v 75ah that needs to be replaced with something lightweight so I can handle it.

Visit Bass Boat Central (BBC) forum. Lots of discussions about lithium and some knowledgeable sponsors that sell them.
Ionic makes a cranking battery..100 amp. IONIC LITHIUM BATTERIES FOR BASS BOATS - Drewcraft LLC. I use it plus have all my electronics hooked into it as well. 25 hp Yamaha, Bob’s machine shop trim and tilt plate, 4 helix mega depth finders, mega Live, mega 360, and 2-5 port Ethernet adapters. Most of your cranking batteries have a BMS designed for cranking amps. I think if you would do a posting on bbc Electrical/Wiring/Trolling Motors. Asking and posting the size of the motor used for a cranking battery…you want…it would be maybe quicker than asking each manufacturer which battery starts large motors. If you monitor bbc electronics forum also these manufacturers post special sales with discounts from time to time.
A 100 amp lithium weighs 28 lbs.
