Default New Garmin Unit for Crappie

Man there are alot of choices for Garmins, got me kinda confused but any way I need a Unit for the front of my boat and was thinking of the. Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra 106sv with GT56UHD Transducer........... I want the highest pixel count I can afford, what would be your choice for a Garmin and does anyone know what the pixel count is on the 106 ?

    Best/joe

I have the Ultra 106sv on LS and 126sv w/GT 56 for transom and very happy with both. Do not remember pixel count but it is high and give a HD screen. I think their highest pixel count is on their MAP series. Can get those details at garmin website.

Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra 106sv ... pixel count is 1280x800

That's well above the 800x480 pixel count of my 93sv Echomap UHD Garmin unit.

Thats the exact Garmin set up I ordered on my new boat, now I need to decide whats the best Transducer mounting set up, I am leaning toward the ones that attach to my Tm, but still doing my homework. Ive used that Garmin 3 times so far, the picture quality is good, although I couldn't see my jig and I had to change the color pallet to something brighter. Its surprising how much your trolling motor will scare fish off especially on spot lock, I watched a video of a pro going over his boat set up, he was a 100% livescoper, he actually mounted to trolling motors on his transom trying not to spook the fish, to me this is a great idea!
