I’ve only played with mine a little. Used default settings. Had no problem seeing a one eighth ounce jig with tube.

I’ve been out a couple of times with it. I can see an Arig but I have trouble seeing a swim bait. I can’t imagine being able to see a crappie jig.
When the ice and snow melts I plan to go scan some docks. For those of you who have done this what kind of settings are working for you?

I think it has a lot do with depth finder settings. Never had a Mega Live but I'm sure it sees the bait or jig but might be having a problem depicting and showing it to your sounder.
I’m able to track a 1/16 crappie jig around the 40’ forward setting. It can be difficult to see cause you have to land the jig in the beams path and it’s not a wide beam. Ive gotten better on each trip following my jig.
