Default Mounting Livescope to Terrova Trolling motor

Have my LS on hand controlled pole and going to mount it on terrova, barrel of the motor. What have you done with the cord? Forgive me if it has been covered already. I would like a foot controlled independent control on motor but having trouble finding one to fit the Terrova with the sliding shaft.

When and if I get it, I plan on using the live scanner setup! Like a trolling motor made for livescope/mega or any other that won’t work with certain TM’s

They have suspended production of the live sweep and don't know when they will start again. Not sure what to do now?

Do you have any experience with the live scanner? They don't have a bracket to fit Terrova but gave me the name of a guy that makes them.

No sir! If I get one, I will mount it separate from the TM! As you can see from the video, it has its own power source.

wanted my transducer mounted to my trolling motor but didn’t like all of extra cords etc. I came up with this solution and it has worked great. When I’m using Spotlock the trolling motor cable gets tight and rewinds before the Livesxope cable gets tight. I’m sure you could do this on the Power Drive motors as well, as long as you watched the cable tightness.

    Materials:
•One Rod Sock made for 6.5’ rods
    •Cable Ties
•A small bushing about an inch and half long that a 1/4” bolt will go
through and a clamp to hold cable off of the side cover of the Terrova.
•A longer 1/4” bolt to replace the short bolt that holds the side cover on.

Cut a small slit just down from the enclosed end of the Rod Sock. Run the LS cable up through the Rod Sock and out the cut opening. I heated the strands of the cut opening before running the cable and then taped this well after I ran the cable through so it wouldn’t frazzle out. Attach the big end of the Rod Sock to the LS cable at the top of the transducer with cable ties and attach cable to Rod Sox at the top where you made the cut with tape. Wrap the cable and Rod Sock loosely five times around the Terrova shaft between the motor and the steering motor. Then attach the factory end to the locking pin on the Trerova with cable ties. Run the LS cable down the side of the cover and attach it to the trolling motor with the clamp, bushing and longer bolt. Run the LS cable on to the LS Black box and you are done. Stows perfectly and has worked fine for me. No extra cables cluttering up everything. I think it looks neat and organized.

I have tried to explain the process and have attached some pictures but if you want any more info. fell free to PM me.

    Hope this may help
    some of you guys.

    Tight Lines,
    Richard
