Thank you for posting the description and pictures of your Terrova setup.

How does the livescope work in that setup? Any interference from being on the side of the motor?
And how have the cables held up? I have destroyed several transducer cables with my Terrova, so I'm pretty gun-shy!
    Thanks again.

Thanks for the detailed installation pics & details. I broke down & purchased the livescope package myself last week. I thought I would start out installing it on my Terrova & see how I like it before possibly adding an over the side pole. Still reading & gathering info on installation & power supply possibilities.

It worked excellent. No issues at all. I have since switched trolling motors to an Ultrex but I had no issues at all with how I had it mounted on the Terrova.

Thanks for the follow up. Seems safe, if rigged carefully. My problem is that my 'finder is mounted on my console, and I can't justify a 2nd one. What to do?

I pretty much copied was Butlerrd did, it works fine.

I don't imagine it would work very well on spot luck but I rarely use that while livescoping. It will go around and around and wrap the cables, but it will detect the extra drag and turn around the other way. That said I've had it snap a transducer cord before somehow, so I'd exercise caution while spot locking.

Probably buy another cradle and swap the headunit back and forth. Not ideal but it would work.
